Burton Tuttle is a founding member of Wagner Property Group. As Vice President of Real Estate, Burton is responsible for sourcing development and investment opportunities, as well as cultivating and managing retailer, banking and investor relationships.
Previously, Burton served as Site Acquisition Manager at Encore Real Estate Development in Safety Harbor, Florida, where he was consistently a top producer covering the West Coast of Florida. Prior to that, Burton spent 5 years in Dallas, TX as the Real Estate Manager for Salvo Real Estate Solutions, a merchant builder that specialized in hard corner development.
Burton graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with a B.S. in Economics and Finance. He holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in Florida and a Real Estate Salesperson license in Texas. Burton is actively involved with The Bergstrom Council, the Real Estate Investment Council, ICSC, Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, and he is a member at First Presbyterian Church in Tampa.
John is a founding member of Wagner Property Group as well as an experienced project manager who has completed numerous projects throughout the Southeastern United States as well as a LEED accredited professional with over 16 years of diverse design, land development, engineering, survey, & construction experience. John is responsible for overseeing the Project and Development Management for Wagner Property Group as well as overseeing the project management team whose responsibilities include site evaluation and planning, due diligence, entitlements, rezoning & variances as well as project cost estimating. John oversees the Project Management team that facilitates and manages civil/architectural design, site development, contractor negotiating/bidding/construction, tenant coordination and the overall economic performance of projects.
Before joining Wagner Property Group, John worked for Encore Real Estate Development as a Project Manager. Prior to that he was a Project Manager for AVID Group, overseeing the civil land development and design of multiple retail & residential projects throughout Florida. Prior to this, John worked as a Project Manager for a Land Development/ Engineering company in Indianapolis, Indiana focusing on retail and residential development in the Midwest.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography-GIS & Survey from Ball State University and completed the graduate program for Project Management at University of South Florida. John is also a licensed real estate agent, a board member for the Allen’s Ridge Home Owners Association and currently resides in Palm Harbor, FL.
Michael grew up in the small town of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. In 2014, he started his bachelor’s degree at Bridgewater State University before moving to Boston, where he then graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Business from Suffolk University. Michael has always had an interest in real estate, therefore his studies were focused on Real Estate & Entrepreneurship.
In addition to his focused curriculum at Suffolk, he also started working in the real estate industry as an analyst for a local commercial brokerage firm, M. Donahue Associates. During his three year stent there, Michael became an agent and had sold over $1 million of development sites by the time he was 22 years old. Upon graduation, he joined Douglas Elliman, one of the nation’s top residential brokerage companies. In his nine months at the firm, he brokered just over $3 million in sales.
In February of 2019, Michael left Boston to move south to Tampa, where he joined Wagner Property Group. He looks forward to being in a new area, and to growing his skill set in regards to acquisitions and the world of retail development.
Daniel serves Wagner Property Group as Director of Real Estate, with a current emphasis on the Tampa Bay and Gulf Coast markets of Florida. He is primarily responsible for sourcing development and investment opportunities within his territory, as well as building industry relationships.
Prior to his promotion, Daniel worked with the WPG team as a Senior Research Analyst where his primary function was to assist the real estate team in strategic research concepts, perform market analysis of our target markets, and support the Real Estate and Development teams in various tasks.
Before joining Wagner Property Group in June 2014, Daniel worked in the pharmaceutical arena both as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor for over seven years. During that time, he also gained experience opening and operating a small retail business where he assisted with daily business functions, accounting, and inventory control. Daniel holds a Florida Real Estate license and looks forward to expanding his career with WPG.
James serves Wagner Property Group as a Real Estate Manager of Acquisitions. He is responsible for sourcing development and investment opportunities, negotiating property acquisitions, and cultivating and maintaining key relationships.
Prior to joining Wagner Property Group, James was a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Marcus & Millichap focusing on Single-Tenant Assets in the Southeast. He is a graduate of The University of Tampa with a degree in International Affairs.
Matthew Griffith serves Wagner Property Group as the Vice President of Acquisitions. He is currently responsible for managing the team that sources development and investment opportunities, negotiates property acquisitions and determines project feasibility.
Prior to joining WPG, Matthew had a 10-year career as a commercial real estate appraiser and consultant, last serving as founding partner and managing director of a regional valuation and consulting firm with offices in Tampa, Orlando and Miami. He also held the position of Associate Vice President with Grubb & Ellis Landauer, preceded by five years as Senior Associate at a regional valuation/consulting firm based in Tampa.
Matthew is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Florida State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Real Estate. He holds a Real Estate Sales Associate and State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in the state of Florida. Furthermore, he was one of the youngest ever to receive the coveted MAI professional designation conferred by the Appraisal Institute.
Mike Wagner created WPG as the next expression of his tenured career and dedication to real estate. Mike has had a successful career in commercial real estate investment for over 15 years.
He is the former President and founder of Encore Real Estate Development (2009 -2014) and former Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of Paradise Group (1999-2009).
Prior to joining the development community, Mike enjoyed a 15 year career with Wachovia Bank, now Wells Fargo, primarily as a commercial real estate relationship manager responsible for new business development and credit risk analysis. Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of South Florida.
Sarah Liakos serves Wagner Property Group as the Vice President of Operations and oversees accounting, management reporting and marketing for the company. Her responsibilities also include managing the strategic research and market analysis functions for the business.
Formerly, Sarah was a part of Encore Real Estate Development (2009-2014) where she began her career in commercial real estate and continuously expanded her roles and responsibilities. Sarah graduated with a dual-major Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in Bloomington. In addition to working at WPG, she is a small business owner in the Tampa Bay area and is very proud to have worked for various companies across the US to include lululemon (Southern California) and Morningstar (Chicago).
Taylor currently serves WPG as a research analyst. Her position as an analyst is unique in that her responsibilities are split between assisting the real estate team in research concepts, and supporting the operations team in reporting, bookkeeping, and the construction draw process.
Taylor attended the University of Miami where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 2013 from their School of Business Administration, with a major in Management. Post-graduation, Taylor worked in the fast paced world of residential real estate in South Florida before moving back to Tampa Bay and beginning her career in commercial development here at WPG.
